Hello Everyone and Happy Tuesday 🙂

It is almost a year since I had my son and I have been trying to get healthy for about six months now. I have changed my diet and I try to go to the gym at least 3-4 times a weeek. Yes, I said try (haha).  Sometimes when I wake up I would much rather stay home and play with my son then go to the gym to sweat. (I know 🙄) 

So far, I have lost some weight but I am still not where I want to be. Which brings me to my question. Why is getting healthy so hard? Or maybe, it is not hard at all and it is just me. 

I am fine with eating healthy and I don’t mind working out, really I don’t. For me it’s more about staying consistent. I can do good for a week or so and then I just slip back into my old habits. 

I guess I really need to change my outlook and mindset on the whole “getting healthy” thing. Then maybe, I will be able to commit to this journey for more than two weeks. 

Now as I write this, I realize that I really want this for myself and that I need to make the necessary changes in order to see the results that I want to see. I believe doing something, like getting healthy, is a mind thing and if I put my mind to it I can achieve because healthier is better. So with that being said I’m committing to this healthy lifestyle and I’m definitely going to keep you guys posted on my progress.
