I hope everyone is starting the first Monday of the month off with a positive attitude. This will help you to conquer October with ease.
With that being said, itβs almost that time of the year again. You know the one that bring coughs, sneezes, and running noses. Yep, you guessed it. Itβs almost time for the dreaded cold and flu season.
No one likes to see their kids sick and helpless. We all go to great lengths to make our little babies feel comfortable when they are not feeling well.
Today I have for you guys something that will help your get through this season a little easier. I mentioned it on my 5 Life Hacks That Every Mom Should Know Post. Itβs called a sick kits or sick buckets. Basically itβs a bucket, basket, or small storage container filled with all the essentials that you need to take care of a sick child.
Things you can fill your kit with…
Get a plastic bucket or storage container a
- Medicine (cough medicine, cold & flu medicine, etc.)
- Rags for clean up
- Tissue
- Tummy friendly snacks
- Stickers because everything is better with stickers.
- Thermometer
- Trash bags
I like to keep mine in the hallway closets. When my son get sick I can grab and tend to him, instead of running around the house looking for things. You can even keep on in the car to use if someone was to get sick while on the road. You can put anything that will help you child get better in your sick kit.
I hope this helps you guys. Comment below and tell me what are some things that you do to get you through cold & flu season.
