April is Here!

Hello guys and welcome back to my blog! I know I am late with this post, but yesterday was a busy day for me. So here we go…

April is here and we began this month with Easter and April Fools Day on the same day. How interesting is that?!

How did you guys celebrate Easter this year?

My family and I celebrated with family. We had an Easter egg hunt with all of the children and gave out prizes to those who found the most eggs. We continued to celebrate with good food and great laughter, all while making great memories.

Its times like this that always help me to remember how important family is. I know that life gets busy and we can’t always talk to and be around loved ones but it is really important to get together and enjoy each other’s company when you can.

I enjoyed making my son’s Easter basket and he was so excited to see all of his treats and goodies in the basket when he woke up early Sunday morning. I went overboard with his basket, buy hey! I guess I’m that mom. Lol.

April brings a whole new month to move closer to achieving our goals. New opportunities and a fresh start. My goal this month is to get back on my fitness journey. I want to challenge myself to eat healthy and to workout more consistently.

Comment below how you celebrated Easter and some goals that you have for this month.

Until next time… stay positive!

Sounds like you had a beautiful weekend! My son and I went on an Easter Egg hunt and also we all went to church service and went to brunch. Here in Kansas City it snowed and was 25 degrees so the weather sucked. Thanks for sharing! I can’t believe it’s April. I need to get back on my workout thing as well. Good luck!

    1. Omg! Itā€™s snowed in Indiana as well and it was really cold here. We had the Easter egg hunt inside. Thanks for stopping by!

  3. I’m glad you’ve had a great Easter and family time was well-spent. Kudos!

My Easter: Let’s call it time and a half at work, loaded with chocolate “egg” candies (because I forgot to pack my own lunch; bad move on my part. I refused to buy any meals from nearby restaurants as well). By the time I’ve made it home, I cleared my head, offered tech support for my mom’s smartphone, shared two writing tips with fiction writers in a forum, and had an amazing convo with my family. It’s always the family time that makes a huge difference. We don’t necessarily celebrate this holiday (mixed with April Fools – that’s a first), but we’ve enjoyed each other’s company.

My goals for this month are: Continue to spend less and save more (practical for emergencies), reinvest some cooking time, design my spaces, be more proactive at work and play, and learn to say “No” to things that don’t look/feel right.

    Enjoy your month!

  9. One of my blog-related goals for April was that I draft and schedule as many posts as I could. Surprisingly, I did more than I thought I would, I really surprised myself.

By the way, although the Easter season is weeks past but I spent my easter alone in a room meant for 18 people, without a place to buy food and the ATM’s were not dispensing cash. Was very horrible!
