Complacency Kills

Hello guys and welcome back to my blog!

Plenty of times we set out goals and once we accomplish them we just are so caught up in the glory of finishing them. It’s okay to pat yourself on the back for a job well done, but seriously in life there is always more to be done. We must continue to evolve in order to be successful.

I can say for myself, it’s been times where I’ve been complacent and missed out on an opportunity. That can be disheartening at times, but with life you live and you learn. I go by the saying “there is never failure, just lessons and blessings”. So instead of being stuck with regret or guilt get up and be more productive.

I try to set goals regularly even when completing certain ones. You should never stop learning. I always want to challenge myself to go the extra mile, even after I accomplish goals.

What are some ways that you stay on track with your goals? What do you do after you accomplish them?

Until next time…stay positive!

  5. I consider them short-term goals, and once I reach them I go for other short-term goals. For example, I’m still trying to lose my pregnancy weight from 3 years ago. I decided to get really serious about it back in August of 2017 and I’ve lost 25 lbs so far, and only 15 lbs more to go. I think having the short-term goals keep me motivated to keep going and hitting those long-term goals.
