Today I have for a drink that is one of my favorites. I am not a drinker but when I do go out for drinks with friends, I always order a sangria. Sangria is not a very strong drink so it is perfect for th non drinkers. This apple cider sangria makes the perfect drink for the fall.

On my Favorite Fall Treats Post, this definitely made the list. A lot of my reader showed interest in this drink so I decided to share with you my simple recipe that is perfect for the Fall.

Mid-Week Motivation: Some Words Of Encouragement

Hello everyone, happy Wednesday 😊

I hope that everyone’s week is going good so far.

This post is to give motivation to everyone reading it to remind you all to keep going. Keep pushing forward towards your goal, no matter what is going on in your life right now.

**taken from Google Image

I know sometimes things happen that discourage us on continuing down the path towards our goals, but you have to keep going. Nothing in life is ways and I promise once you reach where you are trying to get to in life it will all be worth it. I know saying this is easier said then done, but remain positive through it all and always think positive about every situation you may encounter in your journey. Good or bad.

I won’t ramble on, but I just wanted to give that person that is feeling a little down some words of encouragement. I hope this helps and I hope the rest of the week goes great for each and every one of you and that you move closer to achieving your goals.

Until next time…stay positive!

On Sunday’s We Chill

Hello everyone, happy Sunday 🙂

I hope everyone is having a great weekend. This Sunday my family is just chilling. When I say chilling, I mean we are being lazy. And when I say lazy, I mean we are doing absolutely nothing today. Lol.

Our weekdays are usually filled with appointments for my son, other outings, school works, and a long list of other things. So Sunday is usually the one day of the week where we just chill.

We don’t even do house work. Which we usually tackle on Saturday night. We just hang around the house and do fun things together as a family. You know like watch movies, cook dinner together, yea things like that. It feels good to have days like this. It prepares us for the busy week that we have to come. I hope each and every one of you reading this is spending this day doing whatever makes your heart smile.

How to Make Sick Kits

Hey guys, happy Monday 😊

I hope everyone is starting the first Monday of the month off with a positive attitude. This will help you to conquer October with ease.

With that being said, it’s almost that time of the year again. You know the one that bring coughs, sneezes, and running noses. Yep, you guessed it. It’s almost time for the dreaded cold and flu season.

No one likes to see their kids sick and helpless. We all go to great lengths to make our little babies feel comfortable when they are not feeling well.

Today I have for you guys something that will help your get through this season a little easier. I mentioned it on my  5 Life Hacks That Every Mom Should Know Post. It’s called a sick kits or sick buckets. Basically it’s a bucket, basket, or small storage container filled with all the essentials that you need to take care of a sick child.

Things you can fill your kit with…

Get a plastic bucket or storage container a

  • Medicine (cough medicine, cold & flu medicine, etc.)
  • Rags for clean up
  • Tissue
  • Tummy friendly snacks
  • Stickers because everything is better with stickers.
  • Thermometer
  • Trash bags

I like to keep mine in the hallway closets. When my son get sick I can grab and tend to him, instead of running around the house looking for things. You can even keep on in the car to use if someone was to get sick while on the road. You can put anything that will help you child get better in your sick kit.

I hope this helps you guys. Comment below and tell me what are some things that you do to get you through cold & flu season.

5 Life Hacks That Every Mom Should Know!

Hello everyone, happy Wednesday 😊

Welcome back to my blog. Today I will be giving you five hacks that I believe that every mom should know. Every one loves a good hack these days so why now add these to the list of hacks that can make Mom life a little bit easier.

  1. Use rubber bands to keep doors unlocked. Every child knows how to lock the door but for some reason they seem to not be able to unlock the door to get out of a room. Attach rubber bands to both the inside and outside door handle to prevent doors from locking.
  2. Create sick buckets filled with the thing you use to care for your sick children. This will help save time on looking for items around the house because they will all be in one place.
  3. Use shoe holders as snack organizers for kids. Fill each compartment with snacks for the kids and let them choose what they would like. Great way to control what they eat while help them become more independent.
  4. Create a Family Binder to help store all of your family’s important documents and important numbers. Put it in a easy to remember place so that when an emergency happens you will know directly where to go and not spend time searching in different places for different documents.
  5. Use clothes pins and rope to organize stuffed animal. Hand rope from the ceiling and attached stuffed animals with clothes pins to the rope. This helps with easy clean up and you won’t have to worry about stuffed bears being thrown around the room.

I hope you all enjoyed these hacks. Comment below and let me know what hacks do you use in your life that make each day go by easier.

Weekend Fun At Home

Hello everyone, happy Saturday 😊

It seems like forever since I wrote a post on a Saturday. My weekends are usually filled with lots of family time. I’m also usually never at home during the weekend or when I am I am catching up on my school work for my online classes.

But this weekend is different. We decided to spend the first few days of Fall at home. No, this will not be a boring weekend for us. Why? Because I have came up with some fun activities to do while staying at home.

  1. Slime- Kids love to create a mess so why not let them create a mess that is mom approved. Super easy to make with glue and liquid starch. Kids will have a blast at home with this activity.
  2. Rainbow Bubbles- Take the kids in the backyard for this fun filled activity. All you need for this is some dish soap, water, and food coloring.
  3. D.I.Y. Foam Paint- Let the kids get creative with this fun d.i.y. project.  You only need 3 ingredients; shaving cream, glue, and food coloring. After the kids are done creating there masterpieces. Showcase them by host a art gallery at home!
  4. Indoor Picnic- Enjoy family time at home by pulling out the blankets and make some of the kids favorite foods.
  5. Indoor Scavenger Hunt- Make a list of things that need to be found and watch the kids have fun hunting for them. Make it interesting by giving small prizes to the one that finds the most item!
  6. Film A Cooking Show- Get the kids together and film yourselves making the family’s favorite dish. Have fun watching yourselves on screen when it’s all done.

So guys the next time you just want to stay at home with the family make sure to make it fun with these activities. Comment below and let me know how you turn those boring weekends at home to a fun filled weekend!
