The Christmas Saving Plan

Hello everyone, happy Friday!

I know that some may think that it’s kind of early to talk about Christmas and I agree for the most part. But today we are talking about saving money.

I am going to share with you all a simple way that you can save some money for the holidays this year. I’m all about saving a few coins and I want you all to have a nice holiday without breaking the bank.

The way that you all can save money for Christmas is by implementing a Christmas Savings Plan. With this plan you could really save a lot of money to spend for the Christmas holiday.

Below I have some photos that’s shows you different ways you can do this plan.

As you can tell from the photos you can save as much as you want, depending on how much you put into the plan and how long you do the plan for. I usually start in October putting $50 in each week, but it’s not too late to start now.  I use the money to buy gifts for family and friends and even to buy holiday decorations for my home. I suggest putting the money somewhere that is safe and easy to remember. This plan work well with a savings account through a bank.

Comment below and let me know ways that you like to save money for the holidays.

  1. Great ideas and suggestions for young people with families.
Since it’s only my brother Stephen and I our gift is spending time with each other. Since I work Christmas day I arrange time off the week before Christmas so Stephen and I can be together. Between Christmas and New Year’s is the blackout period so no vacation or days off.
My living situation does not permit decorations but we see plenty of Christmas trees and Holiday decorations around New York city.
Now that we’re in our late 50s life is a gift.
Spending time with my brother Stephen is our gift to each other.

    1. That is so nice. I love how you take time off the week before to spend time with your brother Stephen. I agree, life is definitely a gift. Im just excited to see how my son reacts to everything this holiday season, being that he was so hound last year. Thanks so much for reading!

To keep it real, I hate Christmas so I don’t have saving plan too unorganized.

  4. My bank actually offers a “Christmas Club” savings account, so you can deposit all year and they disperse it Oct 1.

  8. I love this idea. It’s amazing how much it can all add up even if you put away a little bit of money earlier in the year for the holidays. Definitely going to try this earlier in the year for the next Christmas holiday!

  9. Thank you for breaking it down and showing us how this is totally doable. A little each week makes the piggy fat and…the kiddos happy. As a child, I always got what I wanted and wondered how my mom did it – and you are now revealing the answer to me. Thank you. Blessings!
