After reading, I would like for you all to answer one of the questions in the comment section. I look forward to hearing from you guys. So let’s jump right into it.

  1. Do you get scared easily? Absolutely! I am such a scary cat!
  2. Have you ever played Bloody Mary? No, never! I wouldn’t bring that type of energy into my life.
  3. You’re home alone, but you hear footsteps. What do you do? I refuse to be scared in my own home. So I would call my husband to come home immediately lol.
  4. Do you prefer gore or thrillers? Definitely thrillers.
  5. Favorite scary movie? I would have to say The Skeleton Key and the Jason movies.
  6. What was your scariest Halloween costume? I was a dead cheerleader when I was much younger. Lol.
  7. If you were dead to spend the night in a haunted house, would you?  Nooo…I can’t even imagine having to do something like that.
  8. Are you superstitious? No
  9. Creepiest thing that has ever happened to you? I swear that my dolls spoke to me when I was little. Haven’t touch a doll since.

On Sunday’s We Chill

Hello everyone, happy Sunday 🙂

I hope everyone is having a great weekend. This Sunday my family is just chilling. When I say chilling, I mean we are being lazy. And when I say lazy, I mean we are doing absolutely nothing today. Lol.

Our weekdays are usually filled with appointments for my son, other outings, school works, and a long list of other things. So Sunday is usually the one day of the week where we just chill.

We don’t even do house work. Which we usually tackle on Saturday night. We just hang around the house and do fun things together as a family. You know like watch movies, cook dinner together, yea things like that. It feels good to have days like this. It prepares us for the busy week that we have to come. I hope each and every one of you reading this is spending this day doing whatever makes your heart smile.

My Life As Mommy And Student.

Hey guys, happy Friday 😄

As some of you may or may not know I am a online student. I have been attending classes since before I had my son and I always enjoyed it. I always had the self discipline to do so what I needed to do as a student, so once my son was born I decided that I would continue my education.

As a mother, being a student is very different for me. I have learned to manage my time better and get my school work done around my son’s schedule. My husband is a big help but sometimes my son just wants to be around mommy and doesn’t understand that I have to finish an assignment or study for a test.

When my son was first born, I didn’t see a difference at all. You know, he was a little baby so he wasn’t doing much and I could take the time I need to be a student when needed. Now that he is a little older and walking and talking there’s no such thing.

Here are some things I have learned being a Mommy and a student.

  • Have A Schedule – I have learned that when I schedule my times to study or complete assignments that I don’t feel bad about leaving my child to do so. I usually schedule around his naps times which as worked out perfect for me.
  • Multi-Task – At first I would feel like if I studied with him then I am taking away time to spend with him. But I have learned that it is actually including him in what I am doing. Plus he enjoys pulling his littl books out when he sees me get started with school work.
  • Me Time – Through this whole process as mommy and student I have learned that it’s okay to take some me time. To turn my brain off from being a student and a mom and do something I enjoy like read a book or listen to music.

Being a mom and a student is not easy but it can work. Also moms remember that it is okay to ask for help when you need it. I know we don’t like to ask for help, but we all need it at some point in our lives.

D.I.Y Halloween Decoration Ideas

Hello guys, happy Wednesday 😄

This year I am excited about Halloween because my son actually gets to participate. Last year my son was only three months old when Halloween rolled around. Before becoming a mother, I didn’t celebrate this holiday as an adult. Now as a mother, I want my child to have the full experience of this day.

Decorating the house is very fun to do with him. I love seeing him happy and full of excitement as he helps me. You don’t have to spend a lot of money, you can make a lot of the decorations on your own. Here are a few D.I.Y Halloween decorating ideas that I think you guys will enjoy.

  • Outdoor Pumpkin Light Cover ~ this is a very inexpensive and creative idea. Use $1 plastics pumpkins , cut them in half, and cover your outdoor light with.
  • Flying Ghost ~ Another inexpensive idea. Use balloons and fabric to create “ghosts” that you can hang around the yard.
  • Spider Wreath ~ Use a wreath form and wrap it in fabric then place tiny toy spiders around the wreath. This is sure to give a spooky welcome to your home.

I hope that you all enjoyed these ideas. Comment below and let me know how to you like to decorate for Halloween.

How to Make Sick Kits

Hey guys, happy Monday 😊

I hope everyone is starting the first Monday of the month off with a positive attitude. This will help you to conquer October with ease.

With that being said, it’s almost that time of the year again. You know the one that bring coughs, sneezes, and running noses. Yep, you guessed it. It’s almost time for the dreaded cold and flu season.

No one likes to see their kids sick and helpless. We all go to great lengths to make our little babies feel comfortable when they are not feeling well.

Today I have for you guys something that will help your get through this season a little easier. I mentioned it on my  5 Life Hacks That Every Mom Should Know Post. It’s called a sick kits or sick buckets. Basically it’s a bucket, basket, or small storage container filled with all the essentials that you need to take care of a sick child.

Things you can fill your kit with…

Get a plastic bucket or storage container a

  • Medicine (cough medicine, cold & flu medicine, etc.)
  • Rags for clean up
  • Tissue
  • Tummy friendly snacks
  • Stickers because everything is better with stickers.
  • Thermometer
  • Trash bags

I like to keep mine in the hallway closets. When my son get sick I can grab and tend to him, instead of running around the house looking for things. You can even keep on in the car to use if someone was to get sick while on the road. You can put anything that will help you child get better in your sick kit.

I hope this helps you guys. Comment below and tell me what are some things that you do to get you through cold & flu season.

5 Life Hacks That Every Mom Should Know!

Hello everyone, happy Wednesday 😊

Welcome back to my blog. Today I will be giving you five hacks that I believe that every mom should know. Every one loves a good hack these days so why now add these to the list of hacks that can make Mom life a little bit easier.

  1. Use rubber bands to keep doors unlocked. Every child knows how to lock the door but for some reason they seem to not be able to unlock the door to get out of a room. Attach rubber bands to both the inside and outside door handle to prevent doors from locking.
  2. Create sick buckets filled with the thing you use to care for your sick children. This will help save time on looking for items around the house because they will all be in one place.
  3. Use shoe holders as snack organizers for kids. Fill each compartment with snacks for the kids and let them choose what they would like. Great way to control what they eat while help them become more independent.
  4. Create a Family Binder to help store all of your family’s important documents and important numbers. Put it in a easy to remember place so that when an emergency happens you will know directly where to go and not spend time searching in different places for different documents.
  5. Use clothes pins and rope to organize stuffed animal. Hand rope from the ceiling and attached stuffed animals with clothes pins to the rope. This helps with easy clean up and you won’t have to worry about stuffed bears being thrown around the room.

I hope you all enjoyed these hacks. Comment below and let me know what hacks do you use in your life that make each day go by easier.
